Broker
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a book of workers’ compensation business.
- Evaluate submissions and select appropriate markets to submit to based off coverage needs and exposures.
- Generate new client relationships and cultivate current client base to generate a flow of submissions.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers and provide quotes to retail agents in a timely manner.
- Work in conjunction with Account Managers to respond to inquiries promptly and accurately with a customer-first and solution oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
- Three years commercial lines insurance experience in independent agency, wholesale brokerage, or insurance carrier environment.
- Familiarity with workers’ compensation policy forms, rating, and classifications.
- Track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Account Manager
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in servicing DRJ’s book of workers’ compensation business, including marketing new and renewal business, handling audits, endorsements, cancellations, and related policy transactions.
- With assistance from Brokers, evaluate incoming submissions and select appropriate markets to submit to based off coverage needs and exposures.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers and provide quotes to retail agents in a timely manner.
- Work alongside Brokers to respond to inquiries promptly and accurately with a customer-first and solution oriented mindset.
